Description
Coming shortly after the end of World War II, the Korean War was one of the first conflicts fought during the new cold war atmosphere between the United States and the Soviet Union. Many U.S. soldiers who had fought in World War II again found themselves fighting overseas, but with a new mission to stop the spread of communism.
