Description
Dramatizes Edison's invention of the light bulb focusing on the character traits of perseverence, conviction and honesty that influenced his final success. The inventor's success is also attributed to his ability to make loyal friends and assistants, and to work diligently in the face of dishonest investors. As the drama unfolds, the scientific principles of heat, vaccums, carbon, glass and resistance are also demonstrated in story form. Finally, the drama surveys the influence of Edison's invention of the electric light bulb in the creation of the new electrical industry.
