Description
In the kingdom of Keirdre, seventeen-year-old Saoirse Sorkova hides in plain sight as a siren, a creature hated by Keirdre fae nobles and thought to be extinct. As a siren, Saoirse has the power to seduce and kill with her beauty and song. A top military soldier-in-training, she masks her abilities and pretends to be a fae without magical abilities. At night, however, she works as an assassin for the anonymous Employer to supplement her family's meager income. When her sister receives a threatening letter, she takes an assignment as the prince's bodyguard in order to investigate who is behind the blackmailing. Though she has always hated fae nobles, Prince Hayes is kind and considerate, and she can't help but feel attracted to him. Her budding relationship with the prince comes under threat as she uncovers clues about the blackmailer and the royal military begins a ruthless campaign to hunt down the mysterious midnight assassin.
