Description
In 1939, Bobby, the son of a calculating Hollywood stage mother, lands a coveted MGM studio contract but is forced to hide his sexuality in order to keep the job. In 1978, Saeed is an engineering student involved in Iran's growing revolution, and his world is turned upside down when his parents send him to live in the United States with the American grandmother he never knew he had. In 2019, Moud is an out gay teen living in Los Angeles with his distant father, Saeed, and when he and his father return to Tehran to visit his dying grandfather, he discovers a shocking family secret. Each young man is struggling to find their place in the world, and their actions have lasting effects on their family.
