This documentary highlights the life and career of politician and first lady Madame Chiang Kai-Shek who sought to unify China under her husband's Nationalist Movement. Her role as ambassador and interpreter was crucial in gaining American support during the Sino-Japanese War and World War II, and she continued fighting for democracy from exile in Taiwan.
