Seventh grader Alex Carlisle had a successful football season as quarterback of the middle school boys' team, and now she wants to play soccer with her old team. However, she learns that because of a lack of funding, the girls' team is going to be cut. The girls devise a plan to play the boys' team and raise enough money to fund their own season.
