Thirteen-year-old Janelle loves figure skating, but when she enters a competition she is frustrated because she is not as good at the jumps as another girl at the rink and she starts to wonder if she should just quit--until her coach comes up with an idea.

As a twelve-year-old who looks like he's about thirty, Liam feels trapped between two worlds. Deciding to mix things up, Liam uses his appearance to gain a seat on the first spaceship to take civilians into space. Shortly after they blast off, however, Liam and his other passengers find themselves caught in space 239,000 miles from home.
