Description
As the youngest graduating senior of the hypercompetitive Monte Verde High, sixteen-year-old Perla Perez knows all her hard work is going to pay off when she's accepted into her dream college: Delmont University. But when Perla doesn't get in, she takes matters into her own hands by forging her own acceptance letter. She heads off to Delmont with a plan to gather information on how to beef up her application and reapply spring semester. But as Perla struggles with her growing guilt and dwindling funds, she starts to wonder if this is what she really wants for herself and her future.
