Description
Twelve-year-old Becca suffers from crippling anxiety, writing down all possible frightening scenarios in her Doomsday Journal. When her father takes her to Austria for the summer to prepare her for moving there permanently, every alarm bell goes off in Becca's head. Worse, once in Austria, Becca meets her dad's new girlfriend Katarina, her son Felix, and the nanny named Sara her father hired to look after Becca and Felix as they explore the city. As Becca gets to know these new people better, though--especially Sara, who is a refugee from the Bosnian War--she learns that other people have much worse problems than she does, and soon Becca must work out a plan with Felix to keep Sara from being deported.
