Description
Corinne La Mer knows that the jumbies are just fictional monsters the adults of her island home made up to scare children--so when a real jumbie chases her out of the woods, Corinne is in for quite the education. Then a mysterious and beautiful stranger named Severine turns up and makes Corinne's father dinner. That dinner is the start of a bewitchment, Severine's plan to claim the island for the jumbies. Corinne has to stop her, but she won't be able to without her courage, friends, and an ancient magic.
